> Seede Group is a boutique design studio specialising in creating immersive experiences leveraging Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Extended Reality, Projection Mapping, Experimental electronic arts, Games Design, 3D modelling and animation, and Artificial Intelligence in Art. Our unique approach transforms the way people learn and interact with products, delivering unparalleled experiences that captivate and engage.

Seede XR is a Tanzanian immersive design and storytelling studio co-founded by multidisciplinary artist Alex Mkwizu, dedicated to exploring Afro-centred narratives through emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Extended Reality (XR), projection mapping, and interactive media. The studio develops experimental works that merge culture, research, and digital innovation to expand how African stories are experienced locally and globally.

Seede XR's portfolio spans award-winning projects including Chronicles of Kilwa VR, recognized as Best VR Project at Creation Africa 2025, XR documentary productions addressing marine conservation along the Indian Ocean through the True Blue Fellowship, and interactive experiences such as Baraza, an AI-driven speculative VR work produced with Michigan State University Museum Labs. The studio has also contributed to socially impactful initiatives like a C-Section VR Training Simulation showcased across 42 African countries during the Meta AR/VR Africa Metathon.

Rooted in lived realities and cultural research, Seede XR positions technology as a tool for reimagining heritage, challenging dominant narratives, and creating immersive experiences that provoke dialogue, participation, and new forms of collective storytelling.
